Good Apple provides full-service brokerage for owners who are ready to sell and buyers who want to approach acquisition with clarity and care. Our work includes preparing, listing, marketing, negotiating, and closing the sale of a business, alongside guidance that accounts for the operational and human realities of ownership transition.

Whether you are bringing a business to market or evaluating an acquisition, we focus on preparation, transparency, and outcomes that hold up well after the deal is complete.

Built for durable outcomes, not rushed deals

We believe strong brokerage work balances momentum with judgment. The goal is not simply to complete a transaction, but to guide one that is well-structured, well-understood, and positioned for success on the other side of closing.

Our role is to bring structure to the process, manage complexity, surface the right questions early, and help both buyers and sellers make informed decisions. This perspective shapes how we take businesses to market, evaluate interest, and move transactions forward.

Sell your business with clarity and confidence.

We represent sellers through the full lifecycle of a sale, from early evaluation through listing, buyer engagement, negotiation, and closing. Our approach emphasizes deliberate preparation, clear communication, and a smooth handoff for you, your team, and the next owner.

  • We assess the financial, operational, and organizational health of the business to identify strengths, risks, and areas that may affect value, buyer confidence, or transaction timing.

  • We develop pricing guidance based on financial performance, market conditions, risk profile, and transferability, and help position the business realistically and credibly for buyers.

  • We prepare the business for market, develop listing materials, manage outreach and marketing efforts, and oversee the active sale process from launch through buyer engagement.

  • We manage inbound interest, evaluate buyer fit and seriousness, and ensure prospective buyers are financially capable and aligned with the business and transition goals.

  • We support the development of deal terms, help evaluate tradeoffs, and guide negotiations with an emphasis on clarity, fairness, and long-term viability.

  • We work closely with legal and financial advisors to align deal structure, documentation, and financial analysis, helping keep the process organized and moving forward.

  • We help plan the transfer of knowledge, responsibilities, and systems to reduce disruption and support continuity for the business, team, and new owner.

  • We remain involved through closing and the early ownership period to help address open questions, stabilize operations, and support a smoother transition.

Step into ownership with a clear vision.

Buying a business is both a financial and operational decision. We help buyers understand how a business actually functions, where risks exist, and what ownership will require in practice before moving forward.

Our work supports realistic expectations, thoughtful evaluation, and a stronger start after close.

  • We help assess whether a business is a strong fit based on financial performance, operations, culture, risk profile, and your goals as a prospective owner.

  • We review financial statements, systems, and core operations to identify strengths, gaps, and potential issues that may affect value, workload, or post-close performance.

  • We help organize, review, and interpret diligence materials, highlight key risks and questions, and support a clear, efficient process.

  • We assess buyer readiness, including financial capacity, operational preparedness, and ownership expectations, to ensure you are well positioned to move forward confidently.

  • We support evaluation of deal terms, tradeoffs, and structure so you understand how different arrangements affect risk, cash flow, and long-term outcomes.

  • We help plan the transition into ownership, including priorities, systems, roles, and communication to support early stability and momentum.

  • We work alongside your attorney, CPA, lender, and other advisors to keep information aligned, questions addressed, and the process moving forward.

Preparation strengthens outcomes

Many sellers engage Brokerage Services after completing Exit Planning, which strengthens valuation, reduces risk, and streamlines due diligence. While Exit Planning is not always required, businesses that prepare early often experience smoother transactions and stronger results.

  • Not always, but all sellers benefit from preparation. Whether we recommend Exit Planning formally depends how much work a seller has done before they come to us for brokerage services.

  • We typically represent one side at a time. In limited, well-aligned situations, we may support both parties in a clearly defined, facilitated role, with explicit boundaries and advisor coordination.

  • We work with small and mid-sized privately held companies.

  • Yes. We offer integration and transition support for new owners. If we are engaged soon enough prior to sale or listing, we can also serve as operators for a business in need and help ensure a seamless transition that frees the original owner from day-to-day operations.
